Celebrity stylist and Blue Executive Club Member Ceril Campbell has travelled the world advising high-profile clients on how to look and feel good. Here she talks about her life in travel

Where’s the most unusual place your work has taken you?
To Buckingham Palace, when I styled Zara Phillips ahead of her first public appearances. She needed to look glamorous and stylish at events such as Ascot, film premieres and charity balls.

If you had to live abroad, where would you choose?
I’ve lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles, and I’d happily return to the US. However, if I were looking for somewhere to retire, it would be Italy. I love the Italians and their culture.

Where’s top of your bucket list?
India
. I am very visual so I would love to immerse myself in its culture, colour, iconic buildings, history and artwork.

Which destination has inspired you the most?
I was blown away by The Bahamas, it was so beautiful. I was there to style Ringo Starr for a US TV commercial, which was fun, and I enjoyed BA’s First cabin on the journey.

Which destination do you love going back to?
Hong Kong
brings back lovely memories. I worked there in the 1980s, designing and manufacturing jeans for the Jean Machine flagship boutiques on Bond Street and in Knightsbridge. It’s also where I went on honeymoon.

What’s the most memorable hotel you’ve stayed in?
I stayed at the Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa outside Dubai, when it had just opened. Our suite was super-luxurious with a 360-degree vista. At sunset, I’d laze in the floodlit private plunge pool with a glass of Champagne, looking out over the desert and watching the wild animals.

Top three packing essentials?
I like to cover all eventualities, so I’ll always pack a cashmere pashmina, a pair of extra comfy shoes in case of blisters, and a little black dress that folds into a tiny ball.

What does British Airways mean to you?
It’s everything that’s great about being British: reliability, excellent service and safe flying. I love collecting Avios and spending them on long-haul flights.
