First, direct
A new and enhanced premium check-in zone is opening at Heathrow Terminal 5 this April, giving British Airways’ First customers, Executive Club Gold and oneworld Emerald members direct access to the lounge. The First Wing, which was designed by London-based Universal Design Studios, will allow our customers to use two new and exclusive fast-track security lanes – that aim to speed up the process of passing through the airport – to access directly the Galleries First lounge and Concorde Room. Summer’s coming
British Airways will start flying from Birmingham and Bristol airports again for the first time since 2007, with the launch of four summer-only European routes. From May 2017, the airline will begin direct flights from both Birmingham and Bristol to Malaga, Ibiza, Palma and Florence. The airline will also launch weekly flights to the Balearic Islands from Dublin and Edinburgh. From May, BA will begin a summer-only direct service from Dublin to Ibiza, and in June from Edinburgh to Palma. The news follows the announcement of seven new European routes from Manchester Airport this summer, as well as flights to Florence, Geneva and Nice from Stansted Airport. All the new flights will operate on modern Embraer 190 jet aircraft. Find out more at ba.com/newroutes
