11 tricks to collecting Avios at home

Did you know there are numerous ways to collect Avios that don’t involve leaving your sofa? You can collect Avios with more than 1,100 retailers, from high-street fashion brands and florists to DIY stores and insurance companies. Here, Camilla Swift shares her top tips for totting up your Avios – from the comfort of your home

Order a take-away

Just Eat, Domino’s, Uber Eats, and Pizza Hut are just some of the popular food delivery companies available on the British Airways Avios eStore. Combine your cosy evening in with a takeaway from them, and your Avios balance will quickly see the benefit.

Shop on the iTunes store

Planning tomorrow’s night entertainment with a must-see movie, party playlist or new podcast? Download any of these on the iTunes store and you’ll earn 7 Avios for every £1 spent.

Update your summer wardrobe

Spring is well and truly in the air, and the nation’s favourite fashion brands are ready with the new season’s must-haves. To get you ready for the sunshine, the eStore has some of the biggest names in fashion, from H&M to Net-a-Porter, Uniqlo to Topman.

Send flowers

No matter if it’s a birthday, a celebration, or a way of saying ‘thank you’, a bouquet is always a welcome gift. Take out magazine subscriptions

In need of some new reading material? Thousands of magazines will reward you with Avios when you subscribe (as will the My Favourite Magazines subscription portal), delivering everything from weekly lifestyle titles to specific hobbies publications. If politics and current affairs are your thing, you could collect up to 18,000 Avios by subscribing to The Economist – meaning you can feed your brain and your Avios account at the same time.
