Transport yourself to sunnier climes

How? With the unique and versatile Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla

During a lazy stroll through the streets of Seville, you only have to look up to see the city’s most iconic emblem. More than 14,000 bittersweet orange trees decorate the roadsides, filling the city with the scent of blossom every spring, and offering bright fruits to anyone with a passion for their sharp citrus flavour.

Harnessing the glory of these sun-soaked oranges is Tanqueray, a one-of-a-kind gin with its unique and versatile Flor de Sevilla.

This sophisticated spirit, with its tangy profile, tangerine notes and coriander nose, makes for the perfect drink – on its own, with a mixer, or as part of a cocktail. The soft golden amber tones evoke holiday sunsets, while the bittersweet taste transports you to the orange groves of southern Spain.

Inspired by founder Charles Tanqueray’s original recipes, the secret of this spirit lies in the uniquely bittersweet and juicy taste of a Seville orange, balanced with the complexity of a Tanqueray London Dry Gin. The use of Seville oranges goes back to the brand’s roots, when these world-famous fruits were used in its spirits as far back as the 1830s.

With a nose of fresh, zesty sherbet, the taste is herbaceous, supported by bitter orange and fresh tangerine tangs. Floral notes develop, followed by sweet orange marmalade and peppery juniper, with a fruity aftertaste.

Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is perfect served with ice in a copa de balon glass, with premium tonic and a wedge of fresh orange. Or impress your guests by creating a Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Negroni, by combining the spirit with red herbal liqueur and sweet vermouth and garnishing with a slice of bitter Seville orange.

Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is in good company, alongside the classic London dry gin, and Tanqueray No Ten.

Bringing edge and swagger to the portfolio, Tanqueray London Dry is distilled four times and has the perfect balance of four classic gin botanicals – refreshing juniper, peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet liquorice, providing classic base for cocktails.

Sophisticated and elegant, Tanqueray No 10 is distilled with Tanqueray’s standard gin botanicals before fresh citrus fruits – limes, oranges and pink grapefruit – are added along with with camomile flowers in Tiny Ten, the still from which the liquid gets its name.

The latest addition to the Tanqueray family, Flor de Sevilla comes in the same iconic Tanqueray bottle, inspired by a three-part cocktail shaker. It makes a wonderful gift, or a treat for yourself – so join its fanbase of independent thinkers and enjoy a taste of Spanish sunshine all year round.
