EVENT • August 2018
It was an Executive Club-only celebration of American Independence Day, featuring classic cuisine of the Deep South and plenty of Nashville-themed treats. Almost one month on, we look back through the highlights of The Club’s latest After Hours Club event, ‘A Taste of Nashville’
Taking place at Soho’s Ham Yard Hotel, the latest After Hours Club, ‘A Taste of Nashville’, brought together more than 80 guests for a night of fun and festivity inspired by BA’s new direct route to the heart of Tennessee.
The evening got off to a Southern start with a bourbon-based cocktail before a host of delicious, US-inspired nibbles including mini beef sliders, buttermilk chicken, mac and cheese bowls and cob salad – gave guests a taste of Nashville’s culinary scene. Executive Club Members also made the most of the hotel’s retro bowling alley, before ending the night on a series of big-wins, including the evening's grandest prize, five nights at Nashville hotspot, Hutton Hotel.
The raffle – which raised more than £300 for BA’s charity Flying Start - also included two tickets to the Peter Spanton VIP Bar at the Royal Academy of Art in London, a bottle FEW bourbon whiskey with mixers, plus a Nashville-themed gift hamper.
And it wasn’t only the evening’s winners who went home with gifts in hand, as all guests received a goody bag, which included White Company amenity kits straight from Club World, their own bag of Union Hand-Roasted coffee, a leather passport cover from American Express, as well as Alpha H and Tan Luxe beauty products, Laithwaites wine vouchers, and much more.
