British Airways has unveiled its latest in-flight safety video featuring an all-star cast of iconic British celebrities. On board short and long-haul routes from 1 August 2018, comedian Chabuddy G returns to direct the likes of Sir Michael Caine, Joanna Lumley and David Walliams as they demonstrate and explain important safety procedures. The video also promotes Flying Start, BA’s global charity partnership with Comic Relief, which has raised over £19 million for children in some of the world’s poorest communities since launching in 2010. British Airways has announced a new four-times-a-week service to Germany’s fourth largest city, Cologne. Beginning on 16 November 2018, the route will connect customers with Cologne’s culturally rich history, emerging art-scene and dazzling architecture, including the city’s famous twin spires. International travellers can enjoy faster access through UK passport control thanks to the Registered Traveller scheme. Open to frequent flyers from over 40 countries, eligible members of the scheme can use the eGates, while bypassing fingerprint checks and the need for landing cards.
