The After Hours Club: We missed you

The Club’s latest After Hours event, ‘A Taste of Mauritius’, was an Executive Club-only celebration of all things Mauritius. Here are the highlights.

With a menu designed by Mauritian native and MasterChef winner Shelina Permalloo, the latest After Hours Club, ‘A Taste of Mauritius’ at the British Airways i360 in Brighton, took guests on a culinary journey to the Indian Ocean’s best-loved island, and even sent one prize-winning pair on their way with two Club World flights from London Gatwick.

Seventy Executive Club Members began their evening with a glass of Nyetimber sparkling wine and a trip up the British Airways i360, the world’s tallest moving observation tower offering 360 degree views across Brighton and the South Downs, before moving onto a three course dinner, where lightly spiced goat soup and tuna curries flavoured the night in true Mauritian style.

Raising money for BA’s charity Flying Start, the night’s raffle boasted two amazing prizes, including a pair of business-class return flights to Mauritius from London Gatwick, and four nights’ accommodation for two people at the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius in one of their garden villas.

Besides the night’s grand prizes, guests also received a goody bag starring two flight tickets for the i350, branded Parker pens from Sun ResortsEYEKO Lash Alert mascara, Grow Gorgeous hair serum intense, the Perfumers Story by Azzi Glasser, plus tourist board matieral to help them on their Mauritian adventure.
