Top tools to help you arrive feeling fresh

Nothing robs you of that fresh feeling quite like a long-haul flight. To help you arrive at your next destination feeling as good as when you left, Canadian-born beauty blogger Estée Lalonde shares her essential tools to achieve that post-flight glow

The quick fix

Omorovicza 'Queen of Hungary’ Mist (£48) is the ultimate refresher in my carry-on. This is a luxurious neroli and rose-scented facial mist that purifies and hydrates with just one spritz. I have many mists in my skincare collection, but this one I simply cannot travel without.

The diamond highlight

Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Crème (£71) is my go-to remedy for pesky under-eye circles. It’s infused with real diamond dust to blur imperfections and brighten the area around your eyes. I like to press some of the crème lightly over the top of my concealer right before I step off the plane for added radiance. This stuff is great at making me look as if I had a solid 12-hour snooze.

The no-mess mask

On the rare occasion that I find myself organised before a flight, I make sure to pack a sheet mask in my hand luggage. Nannette De Gaspé Restorative Face Masque (£71) is great for the plane because it’s a no-mess treatment: once you’ve removed the mask, just allow the rest of the formula to absorb into your skin and give it that much-needed boost of hydration.

The keep calm and carry on

This rollerball applicator by This Works (£16) is a must-have for nervous flyers. When applied to the pulse points, the aromatherapy oils in the formula help calm the mind and ease tension. It’s a 100% natural blend of eucalyptus, lavender and frankincense oils to improve the quality of your sleep.

The post-flight glow

If you suffer with dry or sensitive skin, Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Serum (£48) is the product for you. It’s a fast-absorbing formula that gives the skin a burst of intense hydration for up to 24 hours. This serum leaves my skin feeling wonderfully plump and silky smooth.

The sweet scent

Nothing makes me feel quite as fresh as a spritz of perfume before I step off the plane. I love ‘Bois De Balincourt’ (£43) by Maison Louis Marie. It’s actually a roll-on perfume oil and the scent is a beautiful mix of spicy cinnamon, earthy vetiver and warming nutmeg.
