The Cretan resort for every traveller

Crete’s north-eastern coast is a meze platter of archaeological troves, provincial hamlets and mountain horizons. Here, sculpted upon the hillside, stands Daios Cove Luxury Resort and Villas - a pantheon of chic design aesthetic and a Grecian beacon of hospitality above the waves. It would be difficult to speak of Daios Cove Luxury Resort and Villas without mentioning the cove itself. Here, the surrounding landscape is formed in a stunning concave, giving the azure waters and resort on its shores a feeling of deep privacy. Agios Nikolaos - an arty, sleepy town in on the north-east coast - provides the buzz, while Mirabello Bay offers the glorious horizons and water-sport opportunities. You’ll find sands are white and smooth as silk, the sky a similar shade to the water all year round and the parasols open, waiting for your arrival.

Visitors of Daios Cove can expect a wealth of variety on their menus. Fresh seafood is served from any of five restaurants, all of which feature a sprinkling of Cretan classics. Pangea offers a relaxed vibe and on-show cooking stations; the Beach House is a flavoursome fusion of the Greek and the Orient, while Taverna provides you with a meal overlooking the cove under the shade of the flower vines. To wash down your catch of the day, head to one of three bars - the sleek Crystal Box is Bond-esque under the glow of tasteful chandeliers, while the Ocean Bar turns things tropical with a signature cocktail menu designed to please.
