Inside track: what’s new this month

From our on-board Paramount+ streaming service to new ways to spend Avios, new uniforms and the latest benefits for American Express® Cardholders, here’s what’s not to miss

Streaming in the sky
This year, we welcome on board the popular Paramount+ streaming service. Long-haul customers will have access to the first three episodes of more than 25 exclusive and original shows. Get inspired to plan your next adventure – admire America’s most magnificent landmarks from above, including the Rocky Mountains of Montana, in Yellowstone. Or travel through time and space with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which filmed supernatural scenes in Canada, including its iconic waterfront location, Ontario Place. If you’re left wanting more, subscribe using the inflight Wi-Fi and watch as you please (T&Cs apply, subscription required, 18+).

How smart are we? Introducing our new uniform
For the first time in almost 20 years, we have a new uniform to take us stylishly into our next chapter. Designed by Savile Row fashion designer and tailor Ozwald Boateng OBE, the new outfits will be worn by more than 30,000 of our colleagues from spring of this year. Boateng shadowed around 1,500 staff in their roles to create the unique collection, which has been tested over the last four years with secret trials in the air and on the ground. The new look features a tailored three-piece suit for men and dress, skirt and trouser options for women, as well as a modern jumpsuit – an airline first. There’s also a tunic and hijab option. All are made from a sustainable fabric and feature variations of the iconic British Airways Speedmarque.

Helping to make the world a better place
Living in the age of the conscious traveller means we’re always searching for different approaches to find simple yet effective ways to take care of our planet and people. You can now donate your Avios to a charity of choice through our BA Better World Community Fund. Through the Executive Club, we have pledged to match the value of Avios donations up to a total of £200,0001 – doubling the impact you’re making. Your donation will help projects that deliver life-changing opportunities and aid local communities to become more sustainable.
