Catering to sun-worshippers throughout the UK, British Airways has announced a new, non-stop service from London Heathrow to the spectacular city of Durban. As of 29 October 2018, travellers will be able to fly on one of three flights every week to South Africa’s third largest city, and with a flight time of just over 11 hours and only a one-hour time difference between Durban and the UK, can head straight to the city's sun-kissed beaches without the worry of jet lag. British Airways has announced the arrival of a new, four-per-week service from London Heathrow to the Red City itself: Marrakech. This will join BA’s already established service to Marrakech from Gatwick. Brimming with cultural charm, the new flights from T5 will begin on 28 October 2018, with departures on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – perfect for a weekend break. Seat selection has now joined the Heathrow Express, BA partner hotels and Avis car hire as another new way to spend those well-earned Avios. Blue Executive Club Members can now use their Avios to cover all, or part, of the cost of seat selection, while Gold, Silver and Bronze Members will still be able to select seats for free. Outlining the new ways BA is encouraging Club World customers to rest, refuel and relax on board, there’s an inside look at the on board menu, plus The White Company amenity kits and luxury bedding. Eligible customers are now able to enjoy BA's new Aberdeen lounge (pictured above), boasting refreshed design elements and an improved luxurious feel. The revamped 370sqm lounge can hold up to 80 guests, offering them a place to relax or work before their flight. Zoned areas have been developed in order to cater to guests' moods, such as a sociable bar space and separate work areas with wireless printing, plugs and USB charge sockets.
