Executive Club news • March 2015
From luxurious new furnishings and technological updates to an improved view, what should you expect next time you visit the new Executive Club lounge?
Customers passing through Amsterdam will now be able to enjoy a new lounge facility.
Designed by international interiors group Grave, and following the BA Galleries Evolution blueprint, the revamped lounge will accommodate up to 105 guests. It includes contemporary furnishings using Osborne & Little fabrics and Andrew Muirhead leathers, and a local piece of artwork will soon be installed as a feature in the reception area.
Power points will be available at most seats in the lounge and customers will have the ability to print wirelessly from their devices.
The lounge has moved location within the airport, the result of a major transformation programme at Schiphol airport that is set to improve the customer experience.
Project Manager Helen Back says, “The main improvement on the previous facility comes in the form of floor-to-ceiling windows that look out across the runway. The previous lounge had no view at all.”
This is the latest BA lounge to receive a revamp, with other recent refurbishments at Glasgow, Belfast, Edinburgh, Cape Town and Washington airports.
The lounge at Dubai will be the next to undergo the Galleries treatment.
