New York
As seen in… Billions
Award-winning actors Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis shine in Billions, a gripping American TV series set in New York City, about US Attorney Charles ‘Chuck’ Rhoades (Giamatti) and his long-running legal battles with ruthless hedge fund manager Bobby ‘Axe’ Axelrod (Lewis). The show captures all the buzz, magnetism and exhilaration of the Big Apple, where the drama unfolds, from the Upper West Side in Manhattan to Chelsea and the Hamptons, as these two powerful men from opposing worlds are locked in an epic battle of egos.
Billions Series 2 – Tuesdays 9pm
The French Riviera
As seen in… Riviera
Julia Stiles stars in this intoxicating thriller set in the billionaire’s playground of the South of France. When Georgina Clios’ wealthy husband is killed under mysterious circumstances, she begins to understand that her perfect life was not all it seemed. As she searches for the truth about the man she loved, Georgina is drawn into the dark side of the Riviera – a dangerous, criminal world where she will have to fight in order to survive.
Coming soon to Sky Atlantic
Morocco
As seen in… Game of Thrones
It’s no secret that Game of Thrones is filmed in some of the world’s most stunning locations – not least Morocco’s ancient fortified cities, which provide the backdrop to Daenerys Targaryen’s travels from Vaes Dothrak to Westeros. The epic fantasy drama sees the red citadel of Aït-Ben-Haddou – a Unesco World Heritage Site – double up as both Yunkai, the smallest of the three cities in Slaver’s Bay, and Pentos, the biggest of the Free Cities. Also seen on screen is Essaouira, aka Astapor, where Daenerys secures the loyalty of the Unsullied army.
Game of Thrones 1-6, now showing exclusively on Sky Atlantic
California
As seen in… Big Little Lies
Brand new drama mini series Big Little Lies airs this month, based on the number one New York Times bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty. Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley star in this dramatic yet comedic tale where marriage, motherhood and murder collide. The story may turn dark, but expect plenty of shots of the sunny Californian coast, where the story is based. Eagle-eye viewers will spot Big Sur, Pacific Grove and Monterey Bay, including its famous aquarium – a must-do if you visit the area.
