New investment in zero-carbon flying
British Airways is the latest airline to invest in ZeroAvia – a leading innovator in decarbonising commercial aviation – to speed up the development of a 50-plus seater aircraft capable of running on zero-emissions hydrogen-electric power. This exciting new investment highlights the importance that British Airways places on sustainability and supports the airline’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. We all have something that makes us fly. For us, it’s you.
This is the slogan of British Airways’ new advertising campaign, the first since “A love letter to Britain” which marked the airline’s centenary back in 2019. The latest campaign puts the airline’s people and customers at the centre of the story, showcasing British Airways’ own colleagues, all of whom volunteered to take part in the nationwide ad, proudly making their way back to do what they love most. Did you know: The music that plays throughout the advert is Flower Duet from Delibes’ opera Lakme, which first featured in British Airways’ advertising over 40 years ago and is still proudly used as the airline’s boarding music.
