Five eStore shopping sprees that’ll fly you around the world

Right now, double and triple Avios Black Friday offers on the British Airways Avios eStore mean you can quickly shop your way to a Reward Flight with British Airways. Here, we pick the top spots for 2021 – and map out the splurges that’ll help you hop aboard...

Why: Cosy ‘brown cafés’ in winter, canal boat rides in summer and art-filled museums year round, it doesn’t matter when you visit – Amsterdam is always a brilliant city break.
How: You’ll need 8,500 Avios (+ £0.50)* for a one-way flight, or 17,000 Avios (+£1)** for a return fare. Stock up on luxe edible goodies for Christmas using some triple Avios offers, and you’re half way there.
What: Fortnum & Mason’s lavish A Merry Christmas Hamper (£400; 5,000 Avios), brimming with biscuits, marmalades, teas, bubbly and more will sort you for the big day and beyond, while its mega Advent calendar (£135; 1,688 Avios) makes counting down to it that bit more fun. Or, we quite like this jar of Advent biscuits from Honeywell Biscuit Co, an artisan alternative to the classic chocolate countdown (£45,; 450 Avios).

Total spend: £580

Why: Laid-back Lanzarote has wild volcanic landscapes, cool whitewashed villas – and guaranteed sunshine, perfect for a lazy beach break or hiking holiday.
How: A one-way flight costs from 13,000 Avios (+ £0.50) or 26,000 Avios (+ £1) for a return – numbers made bit easier to reach when you’re collecting triple Avios through the eStore.
What: Deck out a reading corner with a chic
Marks & Spencer Aiden armchair (£599; 1,797 Avios), then jazz it up with a Picasso cushion (£110; 275 Avios) and Samuel Wilkinson Flo glass and marble table lamp (£375, both Selfridges; 3,750 Avios). For a splash of high-tech hygge, sit a statement Copper tone London mega candle from Tom Dixon (£199.99, TK Maxx; 1,500 Avios) on this clever side-table from Selfridges – which doubles up as a wireless charging port and Bluetooth speaker (£269.95; 2,700 Avios).

**Reward Flight Savers are British Airways’ best value reward flights. You pay the Avios and a flat fee in cash while the airline pays the taxes, fees and carrier charges for you. You will always be shown the Reward Flight Saver fare when it’s available – just make sure you have collected at least one Avios in the past 12 months. If you are not eligible for Reward Flight Saver, you’ll be shown you the standard reward flight price instead.
