Every so often, it’s good to be reminded of all the benefits you get from your Executive Club membership, and what better time than now? From travel inspiration to accruing Avios, special shopping deals to luxury lounge access, your membership has bountiful benefits at every stage of the journey…

You get your own digital magazine

Whether you’ve been with us since 2013 or for three months, The Club magazine is your monthly dose of behind-the-scenes action, a world of aviation-insider info from those in the know (hello pilots, frequent flyers and cabin crew), tips and tricks for maximising your Avios and must-read features clueing you in on the hottest destinations to travel to right now. What’s more, you have access to exclusive Club offers, giving you the chance to win hotel stays, hampers, tech and much, much more.

1

You can collect Tier Points

Each year, you can collect Tier Points on flights taken with British Airways (or a oneworld® partner) , moving you up through the Tiers and unlocking benefits such as lounge access and priority check-in along the way. The Tier thresholds themselves have been reduced by 25 per cent until June 2022, making it easier than ever to advance, while if you book a holiday with British Airways before 31 March 2022 you will collect double Tier Points on your travels, bringing those tasty travel benefits that bit closer.

You can collect and spend Avios

Free flights, car hire and hotel stays are just some of the treats in store thanks to those valuable little things we call Avios. As an Executive Club Member you automatically accrue Avios on eligible flights, affiliated credit card partnerships and through everyday shopping on the eStore, so collecting them is incredibly easy. With a route network that consists of more than 170 destinations in 70 countries, it’s deciding where to spend them that’s the hard part...

2

You get double the opportunity to spend Avios for Reward Flights

We have made more than 250,000 additional Reward seats (seats bookable with Avios, plus cash covering taxes, fees and carrier charges) available across our network, meaning that wherever you want to go – and in whatever cabin – you’ll have an even higher likelihood of securing your seat with Avios. What’s more, some short-haul return flights go from as little as £1 plus Avios.

Your Tier could be frozen into 2023

Tier statuses reset every year but, as a result of the ongoing travel restrictions, we have continued to extend these with a recent announcement revealing that status for those with a Tier Point collection date between January and March 2022 will not slip down the Tier ladder for yet another year. That’s regardless of how many Tier Points you have or haven’t collected.

Your Bronze benefits

Bronze Members receive an elevated airport experience: priority check-in (Bronze members can use the business class check-in desks regardless of their cabin) and free seat selection within seven days of departure. In addition, Bronze Members collect 25 per cent extra Avios per flight compared to their Blue counterparts.

You can relax in luxury lounges

Plump sofas, delicious food and quiet corners to conduct business in peace: these, my friends, are the British Airways lounges, available at London Heathrow Terminal 5 and beyond. Coveted by many, these pockets of sophistication are the domain of Silver Members and above, meaning holders of that title – and a guest of their choice – can enjoy use of more than 30 dedicated British Airways lounges and more than 100 partner lounges worldwide. And even if you’re not yet a Club Member, if you’re flying business or First, you can luxuriate in that pre-flight experience.

3

Your Silver benefits

Enjoy all the benefits of Bronze Membership, plus lots more, once you hit Silver. Free seat selection at the point of booking (rather than seven days out), and extra baggage allowance – two 32kg checked bags per person in economy – are just the start. Best of all, you’ll also have access to a host of business lounges worldwide before your flight (and collect 50 per cent more Avios than Blue Members for every flight taken).

You have your own Rewards app

Staying up to date with your Avios status and the latest available Avios-collection offers is a breeze thanks to the dedicated Rewards app for Members. Not only does it promote the latest flight, holiday and car hire offers, but it also allows you to click through to your favourite online retailers via that other benefit of the Executive Club: the eStore (where online shopping accrues Avios). So, whether it’s a takeaway, a new outfit or a bouquet of flowers you’re after, you’ll never miss an Avios offer again.

5

Your Gold benefits

The cream of the Membership crop, Gold is a no-holds-barred Club experience that sees Members reap the benefits of its predecessor Tiers, plus 100 per cent extra Avios on flights and access to First lounges and the Heathrow T5 Arrivals lounge. And, if Reward seats in a particular cabin or flight are looking scarce, Gold Members can use Gold Priority Reward access to secure a seat.
