The best of BA news

We’re taking off to three new dreamy destinations, introducing culinary luxuries and fizz on board, and giving you ten per cent off at our latest Corfu resort. Plus, we’ve teamed up with Ultra Education to help empower disadvantaged youth

Exciting new destinations from Gatwick
Were always eager to explore different places, and were especially excited about our new flights to three idyllic destinations from Gatwick in March 2023. Head off the beaten track and immerse yourself in the depths of Guyana’s thriving rainforests, where you can hear an orchestra of sounds from diverse wildlife surrounding you. Visit the tropical paradise of Aruba, where you can feel the powder-soft, porcelain sand underfoot as you watch the sunset over the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea. Or jet off to Trinidad and Tobagos Port of Spain for a city break with a vibrant culture, pretty fishing villages and pristine beaches.

Supporting business-savvy youth in alternative education
Conventional learning doesn’t fit like a glove for all young people, and nor should it. Ultra Education empowers those who took different paths to shape norm breaking into future building. Through gaining skills in problem-solving, resilience, finance, teamwork and leadership, children and teenagers are given the opportunity to ultimately make their dream jobs their day jobs, gaining the best careers and strengthening UK industries. Plus, the organisation offers guidance to families, from virtual workshops to free learning resources. Thats why were backing this incredible work through our BA Better World Community Fund, which has assisted more than 30 projects since its launch.

Cheers to our new in-flight bubbly
Hearing the gentle fizz of The Uncommon’s exquisite sparkling wine is the sound that signals it’s time to really start enjoying the flight. Made from only the highest quality, hand-picked English grapes, it’s no wonder The Uncommon has won awards across the globe.

Why is it in a can, you ask? Not only is it better for keeping wine fresh, but it’s better for the environment, with a carbon footprint 75 per cent lighter than a traditional glass bottle. Feel as if you’re on cloud nine while indulging in some sky-high sipping with our new in-flight wine, which is available to pre-purchase.
