Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, might just be London’s unexpected hospitality heavyweight and – with this exclusive Executive Club prize giveaway – it’s certainly the most generous
The home of England Rugby is so much more than an 82,000-seat stadium. Not content with ranking as Earth’s largest rugby union ground, the ‘cabbage patch’ (an affectionate nickname referring to the vegetable garden once located here) also hosts a World Rugby Museum, a fanwear-crammed England Rugby Store and stadium tours. What’s more, you can collect 5 Avios per £1 spent on food and beverages at retail outlets across Allianz Stadium on match day by linking your credit/debit card to your Executive Club account.*
Best of all, come match days – including the upcoming Autumn Nations Series this November, when New Zealand, Australia, world champions South Africa, and Japan will descend upon southwest London – a range of exciting hospitality experiences can (and should) be taken full advantage of, including one that you can win by entering our prize draw (keep scrolling to find out more). But for now, let’s get a lay of the land.
This lively and informal East Stand roof terrace combines pizza ovens and a rotisserie with live music and vistas. The experience includes access before and after the game, plus an all-inclusive bar full of real ales, Guinness, premium lagers and wines to accompany the comfort food.
Premium cuts of ethically sourced meat and top-of-the-range steaks help the low-lit Gate to exude an atmospheric chop-house vibe. Sipping fine wines or real ales selected by an in-house sommelier, you’ll experience Q&As with legendary former players before the game. Plus, top-notch seats are only moments away to ensure maximum time to relax.
Inside an elegant, high-ceilinged space, guests at the New Zealand, Australia and South Africa games will enjoy a four-course, English-inspired menu concocted by Tom Kerridge (pictured), from the two-Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers gastropub. Kerridge will also be in attendance, as will past rugby greats for a pre-match Q&A. An all-inclusive bar, half-time drinks and a post-match tea round out the offering.
These contemporary suites offer supreme match-day convenience in the South Stand, mere moments away from your box-office seat. Enjoy three courses followed by as much cheese as you can manage, not to mention an all-inclusive bar, a post-match tea and, best of all, an entertaining Q&A involving a well-known past player…
The two-terrace East Wing offers pitch-side views, stadium bowl access and the luxuriousness of a private members’ club. During the upcoming matches against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, you’ll get to mingle with and meet rugby legends past and present, plus enjoy an all-inclusive bar and four courses prepared by a Michelin-feted chef – either Tommy Banks or Lisa Goodwin-Allen – who will be there in person.
Debuting during the Autumn Nations Series, Club XV is a pre-match suite within the on-site hotel. Happily fuelled by a complimentary bar, patrons can wolf down appetisers before a two-course buffet lunch and a plated dessert. Afterwards, it’s just a short saunter to your match seats.
First, over a four-course meal, comes a live show by The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast. Then, while devouring a post-match afternoon tea, guests will hear from three of the current England squad in a Q&A co-hosted by ex-international legend James Haskell and TV presenter Alex Payne. As if that’s not enough, this VIP facility – open for the New Zealand, Australia and South Africa games – throws in an all-inclusive bar throughout.
Newly refurbished, this casual, capacious space comes with a large bar – all the contents of which are gratis – and various grazing stations. Small plates are also provided, as are premium South Stand seats and the opportunity to hear from – and meet – an international rugby player. It’s open for three hours prior to kick-off and then 90 minutes after the final whistle has blown.
To purchase hospitality experiences, bookings can be made directly online with the stadium or via principal hospitality sales partner Keith Prowse, which will provide an account-managed experience.
By purchasing hospitality experiences via official channels, a contribution goes to Good For Rugby, which sees profits ploughed back into the sport at all levels.
*Excludes pop-up food and beverage vendors, the RFU museum and corporate hospitality.
