It's time to start planning your 2019 adventure as new routes to Charleston, Greece and Corsica are announced
Three cheers for Charleston
Another day, another swinging southern city for the British Airways route network, as new direct flights to charming Charleston, South Carolina’s most magical metropolis, are announced. Taking customers direct to the city’s historical beauty, the two-per-week summer service will see BA become the only airline to connect Charleston and Europe, running from 4 April to 24 October 2019. Escape to the Med
Travellers looking for a summer fling with the sparkling beaches and multi-coloured coastlines of the Mediterranean, can now choose from two new seasonal routes from Heathrow beginning in May 2019. For those seeking an ancient gateway to the untapped Ionian Islands, British Airways will run a twice-per-week service to Preveza (pictured) in Greece between 26 May and 29 September 2019. Meanwhile, the quaint port town of Bastia will become the airline’s second destination in Corsica, with a flight each week to Poretta airport beginning 25 May 2019.
