Executive Club Members flying from London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 will find plenty to please them in the newly refreshed First lounge

Travelling from Heathrow Terminal 5 on your next trip? If you’re a First customer or Gold Executive Club member, you can enjoy the newly refurbished First lounge before you fly.

The refresh sees the introduction of more than 220 pieces of new furniture, including stylish high-backed chairs and relaxing sofas, as well as additional power outlets for recharging electronic devices.

The First lounge also features The Gold Bar, which is covered in gold leaf and lit by a Swarovski crystal chandelier. Customers can help themselves to the bar, stocked with fine wines and spirits. 

There is also a dedicated Champagne Bar, surrounded by banquette seating, decorated with a subtle Concorde motif and serving top Champagnes, including Castelnau Vintage 2004, Taittinger Brut Rosé NV and Taittinger Vintage 2006.

Hot and cold food is available, and a ‘work and entertainment zone’ provides PCs for customer use, with free high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the lounge.

A dedicated British Airways customer service team is on hand should you need to rearrange or amend your flights. There is also an Elemis Spa for some specially created pre-takeoff pampering.
