Renowned for its world-class bouchons and delectable boulangeries, Lyon - often hailed the gastronomic capital of France - is the latest city break destination to be added to British Airways’ route network from Gatwick. With flights already departing for Lyon from Heathrow, customers wanting a taste of the city’s cultural and foodie delights from Gatwick will be able to do so between 15 December 2018 and 21 April 2019. As the range of entertainment onboard British Airways flights continues to grow, the airline has launched a new Amazon Alexa Skill to keep customers up to date with the latest onboard entertainment. Accessible via the Amazon store, the skill offers movie listings and TV programming for upcoming flights, plus information about closed captions and audio descriptions to support customers with additional needs. British Airways customers can now enjoy digital access to over 7,000 publications thanks to a new trial partnership with PressReader. From newspapers to magazines, customers can download complimentary content from the PressReader app to their personal device 24 hours before their outbound flight, with access for 72 hours. Publications are available from 156 different countries, in 63 languages and a vast array of titles destined to make your next journey fly by more quickly than ever.
