We celebrate the launch of four exciting new routes from London City Airport and one not-to-be-missed summer schedule. Plus, an all-new podcast delves into the lives of our colleagues…

New flights from London City Airport
Is London City your airport of choice? Then it’s good news as BA CityFlyer gears up to launch four new routes from the central London hub. Explore the cultural delights of Milan (from £104 return in Euro Traveller), and Barcelona and Luxembourg (from £82 return in Euro Traveller) or soak up the sun in Thessaloniki in Greece (from £126 return in Euro Traveller). Flights kick off from Luxembourg and from Milan from 27 March, Thessaloniki from 18 June, and Barcelona from 19 June. And don’t forget that seasonal routes to lovely Jersey and Guernsey resume twice weekly from 20 June.

Say Guten Tag to Nuremberg
A new short-haul route to the 950-year-old Bavarian city of Nuremberg (below) is about to take flight. Brimming with history, alpine scenery, awe-inspiring architecture and a vibrant culinary scene (don’t leave without trying the famous sausages!), the historic city can now be enjoyed thanks to four flights per week from London Heathrow from 27 March 2022. The schedule then increases to six flights per week from 1 May 2022, and four times a week over the winter months. To book your flight with us, click here.

Nature lovers will lap up Ponta Delgada’s idyllic island scenes and the wild landscapes of Terceira Island in the Azores, while history buffs should look no further than Poland’s two cultural hubs, Gdańsk, and Wrocław. Arty types can head straight for the thriving creative scene of Riga, the bustling Baltic capital of Latvia, or hide out in cosy cobblestone cafés in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Even more behind-the-scenes action
That’s right: we’ve launched a new podcast, The Check In, to give our frequent fliers an insight into the world of British Airways. The episodes (released on a regular basis) will each be hosted by four colleagues from different areas of the business, so you can really see how an airline ticks. Episode one is available to listen to now via Apple podcasts or acast
