Discover the latest from the world of British Airways, including exciting routes out of London Heathrow Terminal 3 and the first Airbus A380 flights to Miami
New routes from London Heathrow Terminal 3
Significant investment and the addition of a brand-new British Airways check-in area means that, since 14 October, a number of routes have moved from Terminal 5 to a new home in Terminal 3.
Flights to Cape Town, Nairobi, Accra, Vancouver, Miami, Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix will now fly out of London Heathrow Terminal 3 as a result of the upgrades and the Elemis Travel Spa will reopen in the Galleries lounge. Visit ba.com to find out more.
Alternative lounge arrangements at Gatwick
As part of Gatwick Airport’s investment plan, the BA First and Galleries lounges at Gatwick will close for building work in January 2016. From this time, customers will be invited to use the North Terminal No 1 Lounge, which is being increased in size to accommodate BA customers. Details of a new lounge at London Gatwick will be revealed at a later date.
Daily A380 service to Miami announced
In addition to the changes at Terminal 3, BA is now flying a daily Airbus A380 service between London Heathrow and Miami. The A380 is one of the newest additions to the BA fleet and is the world’s largest passenger aircraft.
A host of technological advances mean that the A380 is not only the greenest plane in BA’s fleet (with the lowest emissions per passenger), but also the quietest wide-body jet airliner flying today.
British Airways’ Luxury World Sale is now on. Enjoy great deals when you book a seat in First or Club World before 17 November 2015. For more details, visit ba.com
